Puddle Duck Day School’s staff has been carefully selected and individually trained by our center administration and fellow staff members. They are all certified through the State of Massachusetts as Early Childhood Educators. Our staff continually educate themselves through workshops, seminars, under graduate and graduate level courses. Each classroom is staffed with people that are best suited for that age and developmental stage. We look specifically for exceptional nurturing adults for the infant group and energetic, caring individuals for the toddlers.

It is important to us that the staff is a good fit for the children under our care. Our staff are our pride and joy and truly the heart and soul of our center. They are mature, educated, motivated and high quality. Puddle Duck’s long term staff has been a part of our team anywhere from two to seventeen years.

We look specifically for exceptional nurturing adults for the infant group and energetic, caring individuals for the toddlers. The older classes are staffed by the above criteria as well,in addition to, experience, education and understanding of child development.

The staff includes: Ms. Mary Beth, the infant room teacher, she has been at Puddle Duck for 13 years, Miss. Liz, who heads the toddler class has been here 8 years,  Ms. Catherine, who teaches the transitional preschool, is on her second year, Sheryl, the pre-k teacher has been here 7 years, and finally Mary Ellen Oates, the transitional kindergarten teacher and the assistant director has been teaching at Puddle Duck for seventeen years.
