Puddle Duck Day School | Facility
Puddle Duck has carefully arranged their classrooms to meet the needs of the children that occupy them. Each class contains toys, furniture, and arrangement that are functional for the children’s developmental level. Puddle Duck Day School itself has been designed to feel of home, while maintaining it’s educational integrity. We feel this is a perfect balance for the young child who’s needs we serve. Each classroom is self-contained which helps children feel safe, happy and secure. It also makes Puddle Duck’s staff and parents feel comfortable.
Our infant space has a separate play and sleep area. The infant room has lots of toys that are rotated monthly to keep the children’s interest. The toddler room is designed specifically to meet the busy needs of the toddler, lots of gross motor and sensory play goes on in this room. The transitional preschool classroom meets the emerging social play of our youngest preschoolers, with a big dramatic play space and gross motor for their continuing motor development. The preschool room has a wonderful book area for snuggling with a good book and spaces for particular skill building such as writing and math games. The transitional kindergarten/kindergarten room is designed with small group lesson and cooperative learning activities as well as block building and discovery table activities.
